28 Sep 2007 - 2008 Test Pieces and Scottish Championships Adjudicators

The test pieces for the 2008 Regional Championships have been announced.

 

The Music Panel of Kapitol Promotions, which presents the National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain, has announced the test-pieces for next year’s series of Regional Championships.

They are:

Championship Section:
Festival Music (Eric Ball)

First Section:
James Cook – Circumnavigator (Vinter)

Second Section:
Three Part Invention (Kenneth Downie)

Third Section:
The Dark Side of the Moon (Paul Lovatt-Cooper)

Fourth Section:
Four Cities Symphony (Rodney Newton)

 

Scottish Championships 2008 - Adjudicators

 

Adjudicators for the 2008 Scottish Championships are also announced. 

 

On Saturday 8th March the sections will run in the order 2nd, 4th and 3rd. 

 

2nd section	Steve Pritchard Jones and Steve Sykes
4th section	David Read and Raymond Tennant
3rd section	Steve Pritchard Jones and David Thornton

 

 

Sunday 9th March will see the 1st and Championship sections take place.
