ABOUT

Renfrew Burgh Band is a proud 3rd section (2nd section from 2026) Scottish brass band based in Renfrew, Renfrewshire, just outside Glasgow. Established in 1911, we’re one of the few remaining brass bands still active in the Renfrewshire area - carrying forward a rich musical tradition with community at its heart.

We perform regularly at local gala days, church services, and civic ceremonies such as the Remembrance Day Service. Our calendar also includes concerts, carolling events, fundraising performances, and brass band contests across the country.

We rehearse on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7.30pm to 9.30pm at the William McMaster Centre, Donaldson Drive, Renfrew, PA4 8LX

We’re always keen to welcome new players of all ages and abilities. Whether you're looking to join a band or simply fancy a blow, you’ll find a friendly and inclusive atmosphere here. Current vacancies are listed in The Band section of our website, but we’re happy to hear from anyone interested in getting involved.
